At Glenfield, we believe every detail of what you take onto the course should feel considered. From the head cover protecting your driver to the socks you wear for 18 holes, good design should combine style, comfort and performance.

That thinking led us to create the Glenfield Golf Sock — a technical golf sock designed to perform on the course while bringing something different to traditional golf wear.

Designed for Golf

A round of golf means hours on your feet, so we wanted to create more than just a good-looking sock.

The Glenfield Golf Sock has been developed with targeted knit structures and supportive zones throughout the foot. Different textures and densities are positioned where they’re needed, helping create a comfortable, secure feel inside your golf shoe.

Breathable knitted sections help with airflow, while additional structure through the foot provides the support you want from the first tee to the walk up the 18th.

Two Different Looks

Our first collection introduces two distinct designs.

The Black

The Black is our understated option. Predominantly black with subtle Glenfield detailing and a flash of green, it’s clean, modern and designed to work effortlessly with almost any golf outfit.

The Green Stripe

The Green Stripe takes things in a more expressive direction. Glenfield green, black and cream are combined with contrasting stripes and technical knit patterns to create a sock that’s made to be seen.

From the Factory Floor

Creating the Glenfield Golf Sock started long before choosing colours and adding our logo.

We spent time visiting our sock manufacturer, understanding the machinery, yarns and different knitting techniques that go into producing a technical performance sock. Seeing the manufacturing process first-hand gave us a much better understanding of what could be achieved — from cushioning and ventilation to compression, ribbing and the different knit structures you see throughout the finished design.

Working directly with the manufacturer allowed us to develop and sample different ideas, adjusting the construction, fit, colours and detailing until we had something that felt right for Glenfield.

For us, that process is important. We don’t want to simply add our name to an existing product. We want to understand how things are made, why they’re made that way and where we can make them better.

It’s an approach that runs throughout Glenfield — visit, learn, design, sample, refine.

The result is a golf sock that has been considered from the yarn upwards, combining technical performance with the distinctive Glenfield aesthetic

The Details Make the Difference

Look closely and you’ll see that these aren’t simply colours printed onto a standard sock. The design is created through the construction itself.

From the ribbed upper and engineered mesh sections to the contrasting knit patterns and Glenfield mark, every element has been considered as part of the finished product.

It’s the same philosophy we bring to our head covers: take something functional and make it feel special.

A New Part of the Glenfield Collection

Glenfield began with a focus on creating beautifully made, personalised golf head covers, but our ambition has always been bigger than a single product.

The golf socks are another step towards building a collection of accessories for the modern golfer — pieces that feel at home on the course but don’t follow the traditional golf rulebook.
